If you have been comparing ceramic coating quotes on Long Island, you have probably noticed that one shop may charge considerably more than another. The coating bottle is only part of the job. What matters just as much is how the paint is prepared, which surfaces are included and who is installing the product.
At Xclusive Autoworks in West Babylon, we evaluate the vehicle before recommending a package. A new car may need less corrective work than a daily driver with years of wash marks,
but even new paint can arrive with contamination or defects
and you should always expect some correction.
How Much Does Ceramic Coating Cost on Long Island?
Professional ceramic coating at Xclusive Autoworks generally starts around $1,000 for our entry-level CQUARTZ package, with higher-level protection such as CQUARTZ Professional and Finest Reserve costing more depending on the vehicle.
Our premium Finest Reserve packages can exceed $2,500, particularly on larger vehicles or projects requiring more extensive preparation.
The biggest thing to understand is that you're not just paying for the coating itself. You're paying for the preparation, installation process, professional-grade products, and the specific surfaces being protected.
A properly prepared vehicle makes a difference in how the finished coating looks and performs. That's why we prefer to evaluate your vehicle before recommending a package.
How our CQUARTZ packages differ
We offer multiple levels of
CARPRO CQUARTZ protection, from a more accessible entry package to
CQUARTZ Professional and the flagship
CQUARTZ Finest Reserve service. The right choice depends on how you use the vehicle, how long you plan to keep it and how often you are willing to wash it.
CQUARTZ Professional is designed for drivers who want easier maintenance, attractive gloss and a professionally installed coating.
Finest Reserve is our premium coating service, paired with an expanded preparation and finishing process as specified in the package. We will walk through the actual surfaces covered and applicable warranty documents before you book.
Is ceramic coating worth the investment?
For someone who plans to keep a vehicle for several years, appreciates clean paint and is willing to maintain it correctly, ceramic coating can make regular washing easier and help resist certain stains and contaminants. It does
not make paint rock-chip-proof, scratch-proof or maintenance-free. If preventing highway stone chips is your main concern,
paint protection film is the more relevant product.
Long Island driving adds its own challenges: road salt, winter grime, construction dust and heavy traffic. A coating can help with cleanup, but it still needs proper washing and occasional inspection. As a shop that has been open for over 2 decades and installing the same CQUARTZ coatings from the early 2000's, we get to see a ton of cars that have been previously protected by us. We can say, from experience, that our products stand the test of time. Take a look at our reviews to see for yourself.
What to ask before accepting a quote
Ask whether decontamination and polishing are included, what panels and surfaces receive coating, whether wheel and glass protection are part of the package, the expected turnaround and the exact warranty terms. Compare the scope of work, not only the advertised starting price.
